Using evidence-based strategies for improving diversity and inclusion in research labs I designed an undergraduate research project. To ensure equitable access to the opportunity I posted the project for the PROPEL Spring 2025 recruitment round. After interviews, I selected an undergraduate to work in the our lab on an independent project. The student is expected to return next summer and will be continuing the project. They will be a co-author on the expected publication.
