Invitation to Build Community Among PROPEL Undergraduate Researchers

Dear PROPEL undergraduates,

To support our goal to build a stronger network within the PROPEL community, we are hosting a meeting for all undergraduate students currently involved in PROPEL projects. The meeting will be held over Zoom on Wednesday, March 25 OR Thursday, March 26 from 6:00–7:00 PM. Click on Read more to see link!

This gathering will provide students with a chance to connect with one another and share their experiences. Students who are interested in attending are encouraged to fill out the following Google Form to express their interest: Link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdXVf4Rv0cKPytSnPgBtUK8SSwqvuYW9brXEhgdUys7zJ8fFw/viewform?usp=header

The PROPEL program connects undergraduate students with research and teaching opportunities across UMass Amherst, helping to make experiential learning more accessible to students from all backgrounds. As the program continues to grow, we are also working to strengthen the community of students who are participating in these opportunities.

In addition to fostering community, the meeting will give students an opportunity to share any challenges they may be facing in their research or academic experience at UMass Amherst. Staff from the Office of Undergraduate Research and Studies (OURS) will be present to listen and help connect students with resources and support available across the university.

We hope to see you there!
