Biology Ambassadors Program

The goal of the Biology Ambassadors program is to identify a group of students that will help Biology Department faculty support students in a variety of different ways.  Biology Ambassadors will receive course credit (2 credits per semester) for their work.  Students must be Biology majors to participate.

Some of the activities and projects that Biology Ambassadors will take part in include:

  • Help faculty at CNS Majors Fair, Destination Days, Open Houses, and give prospective students tours.
  • Help the Biology Undergraduate Experience Committee with projects that aim to support students.
  • Hold "office hours" for Biology majors.
  • Help the Bio Advising office staff with projects such as updating the displays and signage in the Morrill buildings.
