Learning Lab Research Assistant

We are searching for responsible, motivated, and organized undergraduates to join the Learning Lab team. We have positions for two data collection projects, one on gender based stereotyped threat and another on cue processing in ADHD. Across these projects we use behavioral, EEG and eye-tracking methodologies.

Study Lead: The first position we are seeking to fill is for individuals to run study visits. This position would involve direct interaction with college-age participants in our lab space. Specific tasks during study visits include obtaining informed consent, preparing for EEG or eye-tracking data collection, running tasks programmed in E-Prime, administering questionnaires via the Qualtrics platform, and debriefing participants for specific studies.

SONA Manager: The second position we are seeking to fill is a SONA and data manager. This position will entail an individual managing our SONA account to recruit and schedule participants. Specific tasks include emailing potential participants, coordinating visit scheduling with other research assistants, tracking study participation, awarding SONA credits, assisting study visits, and overseeing data management.

Study Assistant: The final position we are seeking to fill is for study assistants who can help Study leads with the running of visits. Tasks include setting up the lab for study visits, supporting the lead runner during visits, and processing data.

We will provide the necessary training for interested applicants, therefore prior research experience is not required.
